1 Day Intro to Firearms / Ruskin, FL / 4-11 2026

This class is designed for newer shooters who want to learn to handle a pistol safely and effectively. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to focus and learn.

In this 4 hour class, you’ll build a solid foundation in the essential skills every shooter needs. Through hands-on instruction and structured drills, you’ll gain confidence, control, and accuracy with your firearm.

Topics covered:

• Safe gun handling: the rules, techniques, and habits that keep you and everyone around you safe.
• Loading and unloading: easy, repeatable steps to handle your firearm confidently.
• Proper grip and stance: simple techniques to control the gun and shoot more accurately.
• Become Faster: combining speed and accuracy under controlled conditions.

By the end of the day, you’ll have practical skills you can build on, a clear understanding of safety, and the foundation to continue improving as a shooter.

Range Fees $30 per student per day $30 total due the first day before class starts.

Refunds are only available if the class is canceled by Strapt Academy. If students cannot attend, they can receive credit for a future class by notifying buck@straptacademy.com 30 days prior to the class start date. Class credit is valid for one transfer only and expires after one year. If it is within 7 days you can receive 50% credit toward a future class.
