BUCK LAWLER

I’m Buck Lawler, USPSA Grand Master and lead instructor at Strapt Academy. I have devoted thousands of hours to reach that level. I have trained everyone from new gun owner’s, competition shooters, SWAT and military personnel. I have been passionate about firearms for many years, but over the past three, I have committed myself to a focused journey of mastery. Through competing in USPSA local and Major matches, and learning from some of the industry’s top instructors including Donovan Moore (Point 1 Tactics), Eric Grauffel (CZ Academy), and Joe Farewell (Farewell Firearms) and JJ Racaza (JJ Racaza Training), I have developed both a comprehensive knowledge of the craft and finely honed practical skills.

My journey in firearms isn’t about collecting gear or chasing accolades it’s about real-world skill. I earned USPSA Grandmaster using my everyday carry the same gun I rely on to protect my family. I started competing in USPSA not to win trophies, but to get better with the tool that matters most: my own gun. Being one of only two people to achieve Grandmaster strictly from AIWB (Appendix Inside the Waistband)
reflects a commitment to practical, purpose driven skill and that’s exactly what I pass on to my students.
