STRAPT ACADEMY — TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.straptacademy.com (“Site”) and all purchases, registrations, and services provided by Strapt Academy LLC (“Strapt Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the Site or purchasing any product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use the Site, purchase products, or register for training courses.

Minors may only participate in training with parent/guardian consent and may be required to sign additional documents or attend with a guardian depending on class rules.

2. Modifications to Terms

Strapt Academy may revise or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Your continued use of the Site indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, your purchases, or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in [Your County], Florida, or in the appropriate federal court within Florida. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

4. Purchases, Payments & Billing

All transactions on the Site are processed through Shopify or approved third-party payment processors.

By placing an order, you agree that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided
  • You will pay all charges, taxes, and fees
  • All information provided during checkout is accurate
  • Strapt Academy may refuse or cancel orders at its discretion for any reason, including suspected fraud or policy violations

5. Refunds, Returns, Cancellations & Class Credits

5.1 Universal All-Sales-Final Policy

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ANY PURCHASE MADE ON WWW.STRAPTACADEMY.COM UNLESS APPROVED IN WRITING BY STRAPT ACADEMY.

This applies to:

  • Training classes & course registrations
  • Merchandise & apparel
  • Accessories & gear
  • Digital downloads or online content
  • Event tickets
  • Gift cards
  • Any product or service sold through the Site

Strapt Academy reserves the right to approve or deny any exception at its sole discretion.

5.2 Class Refunds

Students who cancel their own registration are not eligible for refunds.

A refund is only issued if Strapt Academy cancels the class.
In such cases, students may choose:

  • A full refund, or
  • A full credit toward any future class

5.3 Class Credits — 30+ Days Before Class

If a student cannot attend and notifies Strapt Academy at least 30 days before the class, they may receive:

  • One-time class credit equal to 100% of tuition
  • Credit expires 12 months from the original class date
  • Credit may be transferred one time only

No refunds will be issued.

5.4 Late Cancellations — Within 7 Days

If a student cancels within 7 days of the class start date, they may receive:

  • 50% class credit toward a future course
  • Credit expires after 12 months
  • One transfer allowed
  • No refunds will be issued

5.5 No-Shows

Students who fail to attend without notice:

  • Receive no refund
  • Receive no credit
  • Forfeit the full tuition amount

5.6 Removal for Unsafe or Disruptive Conduct

Students removed from class for the following reasons receive no refund and no credit:

  • Unsafe firearm handling
  • Violation of range rules
  • Ignoring instructor commands
  • Intoxication or impairment
  • Harassment or disruptive behavior

Safety decisions are final.

5.7 Merchandise & Gift Cards

  • All merchandise sales are final.
  • All gift card sales are final and cannot be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash unless required by law.
  • Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced or refunded.

6. Training Waiver Requirement

Participation in any firearms or physical training requires the student to sign a Training Waiver & Release of Liability.

Entry will be denied without a signed waiver, and no refund or credit will be issued if a waiver is refused.

The waiver covers:

  • Assumption of risk
  • Hazards of firearms and physical activity
  • Safety responsibilities
  • Medical authorization

This waiver is separate from these Terms and must be signed for each in-person training event.

7. Safety, Conduct & Compliance

You agree to:

  • Follow all instructor directions
  • Follow all range rules
  • Handle firearms responsibly
  • Bring safe and functioning equipment
  • Refrain from alcohol or drug use before or during training

Strapt Academy reserves the right to deny or remove any participant for safety violations.

8. Firearms, Equipment & Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws related to:

  • Firearm possession
  • Transportation
  • Ammunition
  • Concealed carry
  • Self-defense laws

Strapt Academy does not provide legal advice.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including course materials, videos, graphics, text, images, products, descriptions, drills, logos, and digital downloads—is the property of Strapt Academy or licensed for our use.

You may not:

  • Copy
  • Reproduce
  • Resell
  • Modify
  • Publish
  • Distribute
  • Share
  • Create derivative works
  • Upload content elsewhere

…without written permission.

Digital content is for personal use only.

10. User Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Protecting your login credentials
  • All activity under your account

We may disable or delete accounts for violation of these Terms.

11. User Content (Reviews, Testimonials, Media Uploads)

By submitting content to Strapt Academy (reviews, images, videos, comments, testimonials), you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use that content for:

  • Marketing
  • Social media
  • Website promotion
  • Course materials
  • Advertising

You represent you own or control all rights to the content you submit.

12. Prohibited Actions

You may not use the Site to:

  • Commit fraud
  • Engage in harassment or abuse
  • Upload illegal or harmful content
  • Distribute malware or malicious code
  • Misrepresent your identity
  • Attempt to bypass security
  • Scrape, extract, or copy Site data
  • Conduct chargeback abuse
  • Violate any laws

We may terminate access for violations.

13. No Warranties

The Site, products, training, and content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Strapt Academy does not guarantee:

  • Error-free or uninterrupted Site usage
  • Training results or performance gains
  • Any particular skill level, outcome, or certification

You assume all risks associated with your use of the Site and participation in training.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Strapt Academy shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data
  • Injuries outside supervised training
  • Equipment malfunctions
  • Misuse of firearms
  • Unauthorized account access
  • Any damages exceeding the amount paid for the product or service

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Strapt Academy, its owners, instructors, staff, contractors, affiliates, and property partners from any claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Site
  • Your participation in training
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Misuse of firearms or equipment

16. Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for content, policies, or practices of third-party websites linked from the Site.

17. Termination of Access

Strapt Academy may suspend or terminate access at any time for:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or unsafe conduct
  • Abuse of our staff or systems

No refunds are issued for terminated accounts or expelled students.

18. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Training Waiver, represent the complete and final agreement between you and Strapt Academy.
